The Morant Wright Home

The painting on the front of this website shows our offices at 43 St James’s Place. Built in 1685 by Sir Charles Duncombe, Receiver of the Customs under both Charles II and James II and a man described as “the richest commoner in England”, the building has variously been used as a private residence, gentlemen’s lodgings, a milliner’s and, briefly, a tea room. It has been our home since 2007.
